Assassin's Creed IV® Black Flag Companion App Reviews

This is an absolutely amazing companion app. I like being able to earn money and supplies for my game when Im on the go away from the game. The only suggestion I have would be to be able to enable push notifications for when my ships are finished with their contracts.

First of all if you want to get the best of of Black Flag you need to have this. It makes getting all the money you need for upgrading your ship and equipment a breeze. That said its not particularly fun to play. Its just a bit of micromanaging ships and doing these boring ship vs ship battles where you dont actually do much other than choose your ships. But yeah, you can make like 50k R per day just by keeping your ships busy. As for the rest of the app, it is all great and very useful.

I love the fact theyve converted Kenways Fleet into an iPad app. Not only does it make this part of AC4 more fun, simply because its an app game, but it also makes my time on the X-Box so much more rewarding! Thanks Ubisoft!

Worthless without an account. Data resets itself. Even with an account, it doesnt link so pretty much a waste of gameplay and memory space.

Im going from Xbox 360 to Xbox one will I have my fleet when I get up to that part?

I can not play the game when i made an account!how do I play and fight?Its not fun!

App has a lot of promise but after playing for a few minutes, it will inevitably freeze on the screen to select ships to send into battle. After it force closes, you cant play for an hour because it says you have a second instance of the game running. Furthermore its 1/3 chance of the ubisoft server is up. If its up, you can log in, if not.. Your stuffed. If your in and it goes down(which happens a few times a day) it will force close the app and add another hour that you cant play due to duplicate instances of the game. This app has promise, but ubisoft needs to fix the disconnect/duplicate instance/shoddy server issues before its really usable.

When I first got this app is was great. I was making tons of good money for my character to use in the console version and unlocking dozens of things. But one day it says I cant enter the app due to the fact that "I have it running on a 2nd platform" when I have never even opened it on anything other than my phone. This issue is pretty annoying and coupled with the Ubisoft server communication being a shot in the dark it becomes debilitating. Really wish Ubisoft catches these and fixes them because this app is the stuff.

What the hell is this I cant even play on anything

I have tried for several days now and the app just will not sync to my account no matter what and I have tried everything this app it a dumb waste of time and so is the Uplay crap

99.99% of the time the login would fail and would ask if u want to go offline and if u click on it, it says offline mode unavailable for companion app!?!?!? Why give us a button to click if u cant use it?! I followed the instructions I changed my email password but still fails WOW WHAT A FAIL!!!! U shouldnt even get the companion app for AC4 cause they gave up and passed on REALLY?!?!?!?!?!?

Freezes a lot and for no reason with my Xbox off, there are conflicting cessions

Wish I would have downloaded sooner!! Allows you to make money off the game. A must have!

There is a glitch where when I am managing Edwards fleet, the app crashes. No big deal, right? But when I quit the app and reopen it, it wont let me use the fleet. It says that I have it open on another platform, but my Xbox is not running. Very unpleasant issue, needs to be fixed.

I love this app, and have had none of the problems others have described. It runs very smoothly on my iPad, and satiates my AC fix when Im away from my console. I love being able to access my fleet from anywhere, and the detailed map might mean I actually 100% this game, a first for the franchise I love so much. Now if only I could find a way to raid ships on my lunch break...

I cannot log into the game it says u play is not available i down loaded u play and still nothing!

Be careful if swapping between this and other apps. When using Kenways Fleet and chatting with friends, I got locked out with a "conflicting session" error. Now I cant play until I get home and log on with my PS4... :(

I love the connectivity. I use it like a stand alone game, and reap the benefits later, awesome! over all a great app. Occasionally freezes up causing there to be two sessions and kicks me out. Also, I would love to see notifications

after sign up the login does not work , when it does . you are stuck the map forever. there is no way to play this game. good thing I bought an xbox one for games only.

I just lost all my rice. Then I lost all my gemstones stones. Over 5000!!!! What happened?
